I think that you need to stop getting defensive when people try to offer constructive criticism. They're trying to help you to improve as a musician, so that you can get more people enjoying your music. The thing is that there always will be critics, and blocking them out won't do you any good. They're not trying to put you down and say you suck, they're trying to say that you've got to learn a few more things to learn before they can enjoy your music. It's their reviews and opinions you need to take to heart. Show some more respect to the music community, as they're the ones that know what they're talking about, and they're the ones that can help you learn to become a better musician.
